Day 1: Arrive Penang

Arrive in Penang International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in the city center. Check in and the rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Penang.

Day 2: Penang Hill and Temple Tour

After breakfast, meet your driver for your tour around Penang. Visit the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia, the KEK LOK SI TEMPLE, also known as the “Temple of Supreme Bliss”. Enjoy a breathtaking sight of the GIGANTIC GODDESS OF MERCY BRONZE STATUE overlooking the entire temple precinct and its vicinity, then take a stroll up the seven-storey Pagoda which houses over 10,000 Buddha statues. From there, head to the highest peak of Penang, the must-visit PENANG HILL, where the oldest British hill station in the region was established. Enjoy a ride on the FUNICULAR TRAIN up the hill, where you’ll be amazed by the magnificent PANORAMIC VIEW of George Town and the Mainland. While you’re at it, try spotting the two Penang Bridges! Stock up on your favorite local goodies at the Coffee Tree before heading back.

History Of The City
