Bako National Park
Boat into Bako for jungle trails, sea stacks and proboscis monkeys.
Day 3
Semenggoh to Sabah
Morning with the orangutans at Semenggoh, then fly to Sandakan in Sabah.
Day 4
Sepilok & Kinabatangan
Sepilok orangutan centre, then transfer to the Kinabatangan river for an afternoon river safari.
Day 5
Dawn river safari
Early boat ride — with luck, pygmy elephants on the riverbank. Fly to Kota Kinabalu.
